Sales & Returns Policy
The sales contract is between us, “brm” and the “buyer”.
brm agrees to abide by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2000/2334/contents/made). This law protects the consumer when buying over the internet or by mail order and applies to all member states of the EU.
brm will post items ASAP - this will be within 3 working days of the item being completed, but make time will vary for each piece. This is clearly listed in each item’s description. Delays may occur if the buyer’s identity and / or address cannot be authenticated, in which case brm will notify buyers or any problems.
Currently, we are only able to process payments via Paypal. Paypal is secure and can be used with any credit or debit card, regardless of whether the Buyer has a Paypal account or not.
If you are unable or unwilling to use Paypal, you can purchase brm products through one of our online storefronts which can process credit cards through other methods.
In UK law, Buyers have a right to terminate the contract and return an item even if the item is not faulty in any way (this is the consumer's right in UK law). They have the right to do this up to 14 days after receipt of the items and a full refund including the cost of the outgoing postage must be made within 14 days of the seller receiving the returned item(s), or within 14 days of the buyer providing evidence that the item(s) have been returned (e.g. proof of postage), whichever is sooner.
However, this law is not applicable for personalised or custom made items, of which brm pieces are included since they are made-to-order meaning returns are at our discretion.
If you wish to return an item, fill in the form on our website and we will contact you.
Cancelling a transaction
The buyer must inform brm if they wish to cancel the order and they must do this in writing (email is sufficient). brm will provide a full refund of the cost of the item and any postage costs within 14 calendar days of receiving the returned item(s), or within 14 days of the buyer providing evidence that the item(s) have been returned (e.g. proof of postage), whichever is sooner. If the goods have not yet been sent, refunds must be provided within 14 days of receipt of the notification of cancellation.
How do I cancel an order?
Return of faulty goods
The consumer has a right to return goods if they develop a fault within six months of receipt of the goods. Depending on the circumstances, they may be entitled to a refund (full or partial), a repair or replacement.
If the item is lost in transit then, unless proven otherwise, brm should assume the contract is terminated and provide a refund or deliver the same item.
